Description
Circa 1920s. An unusual and stylish open fronted cabinet by ‘Whytock & Reid of Edinburgh’, the top with a shaped and dipped gallery, with quarter matching satinwood veneer on both tiers with a simple rounded fore-edge, the sides with unusual pierced apertures, beneath the bottom tier is a fine beading with a shaped frieze, resting on four elegant cabriole legs with cast brass foliate sabots, the cabinet is polished on all sides making it freestanding.
