Description
Circa 1890, carved mahogany cabinet or bookcase on stand. The moulded cornice sits over a deep foliate carved frieze, and has two astragal glazed doors enclosing 4 adjustable shelves. The serpentine fronted base has two foliate carved drawers with brass handles, and it is all over tapered, square legs. These are united by a shaped under stretcher, and finished on spade toes.
