Description
Circa 1815. An unusual stylish gilded Regency overmantel mirror. The elegant moulded top, with 2 niches at each end with a carved and gilded Lady Goddess. The center frieze, must be to do with the Whisky/Brewing industry, as there is wheatsheaf and a barrel. Each side of this there is foliate carving of acorns. The original mirror is contained in a simple moulded slip with a pair of Corinthian columns each side with elegant carved capitals and simple base.
