Description
Circa 1870, rare pair of Second Empire ormolu-mounted mahogany mirrors. Surmounted by an architectural pediment with a central ormolu patera over a flame mahogany frieze with honeysuckle flower and caryatid mounts. The mahogany framed with Neoclassical ormolu beading enclosing bevelled edge mirrors and flanked by turned columns with ormolu mounts, all over a reverse breakfront base.
