Description
Circa 1860. Magnificent, large Victorian, shaped top burr walnut free-standing center table. The top with mirror matched, quartered burr and figured walnut veneers surrounded by foliate carved fore edges, a shallow frieze and egg and dart mouldings. S supported on 4 foliate-carved shaped supports over a quadripartite base with carved finial over 4 cabriole legs with foliate carvings and brass and white porcelain castors. Lovely mellow colour and original patina.
