Circa 1800. Georgian Chippendale style mahogany armchair with gros point seat. The shaped top rail with acanthus carvings supported on a pierced Chippendale-style splat and fluted supports. The outswept arms with fluted and curved terminals. The removeable seat pad with beautiful hand-stitched gros-point tapestry in perfect condition. All supported on square tapering legs with a H stretcher. In excellent condition.
