Description
Circa 1880, Chippendale style elbow chair with unusual proportions. It has a classic, Chippendale ribbon back surmounted by an open, carved foliate crest and further foliate carved ears. The shaped arms and supports sit above the generous sized, low seat with a carved apron to the front and acanthus carved knees to the cabriole legs. It finishes on ball and claw feet.
