Description
Circa 1820. A good George IV pollard elm occasional table, probably by ’Sir William Trotter of Edinburgh’ the top in fine and mellow pollard elm with a gilded brass fore-edge with mouldings beneath, supported on a rectangular flared stem with a foliate carved section in the center, the base with a gilded moulding, all sitting on an enclosed rectangular base which includes pollard oak, foliate brass moulding.
