Description
Circa 1810, George III mahogany work table/side table. The rectangular flame mahogany top with canted corners with boxwood and rosewood banding. Opening to an interior with 2 small shelves and to the front is a brass escutcheon. The body is veneered in finely figured mahogany with small ebony banding towards the edges. Standing on narrow, tapering and splayed legs with ebonised banding, intersected by concave stretchers with similar ebonised inlay.
