Description
Circa 1840. Early Victorian rosewood side table/work box. The top in a nicely figured Brazilian rosewood with D end drop flaps. The front with a frieze drawer with finely turned knobs and fitted interior above a rosewood fronted workbox (could be removed). All supported on a tapering octagonal stem with moulded collar above a quadripartite platform base over bun feet with hidden brass castors.
