Description
Circa 1890. Chinese 3-tier stand, with a marble top and mother-of-pearl-inlaid and carved border. There is a concave frieze with a slight open fretwork and a curved apron which continues into the top of the legs again in mother-of-pearl inlay. Unusually, there is another apron beneath this with fretwork scrolling across all sides and a mixture of brass inlay and mother-of-pearl. Further down there are 2 solid huanghuali shelves. The legs are round at the front and square on the back and finish on a primitive animal foot.
