Description
Circa 1920s. A neat sized oak hall or monk’s bench. The rectangular top with paneled center, which is hinged on the inside there is an oval panel with quilling with vines carved in the center. It rests on two carved, pierced arms with mythical faces on the front. The solid seat is hinged and opens to reveal an uninterrupted interior, the front has a further panel with quilling similar to the back. There are panels on all sides, with moulding beneath and all resting on four bun feet with castors beneath. (Castors can be removed)
