Description
Circa 1870, large pair of ebonised benches, ex Kinross House, Kinross, Scotland. The tops have been recently covered in cow hide. Below the top is a simple frieze and each the benches stand on 8 square tapering legs with a simple moulding below the spade toe. Unusual to get a pair of benches of this size.
