Description
Circa 1810, exhibition quality, brass-inlaid rosewood tea caddy with original fittings. The sarcophagus shaped caddy with pagoda top is profusely inlaid with foliate design cut brass on lid, frieze and front, turned carrying handles all over neat turned feet. It has its original working lock and key. The interior with rare cut glass tea bottles and lids and mixing bowl; these are all in their excellent original condition.
