Description
Circa 1830. William IV mahogany pedestal bedside cabinet in the style of ‘Alexander Greek Thompson’ The top in finely figured mahogany with a simple moulded edge, the frieze with three carved rondels above a pair of flame mahogany doors, each with turned knob handles, open to an uninterrupted interior. The doors flanked by a pair of simple pilasters, all resting on an enclosed plinth. Alexander Greek Thompson 1817-1875 (Glasgow) was a Scottish architect.
