Description
Circa 1870. A quality Scottish Victorian Gothic influenced pitch pine pedestal, the raised top with tapering sides carved with quarter lunettes and stylishly moulded frieze, with carved sections, the octagonal pedestal with a pierced carved frieze including gothic arches, trifold windows, highlighted in red and tapering downward sections with finials, the pedestal body with fielded panels in pitch pine, all resting on an enclosed multi-tiered tapering octagonal base on an enclosed plinth.
