Description
Circa 1840, early Victorian oak workbox or occasional table. The top is in a mellow coloured, figured quarter-cut oak with hinged side flaps. With fitted frieze drawer with horn handles and workbox beneath, it is all supported on a baluster octagonal stem with an acanthus carved collar, over a quadripartite plinth with flat bun feet with hidden brass castors.
