Description
Circa 1880. A large Victorian malachite inlaid black marble mantel clock of substantial proportions, classic shaped case, ribbed and beaded brass bezel with bevel edged glass, white enamel face, Roman numerals with gilding to the sides. Various panels of malachite and inscribed areas which have been gilded, standing on an enclosed polished black marble plinth with further malachite and gilded sections. The clock has recently been serviced and is working.
