Circa 1860. Victorian mahogany, brass bound, two-part military chest in excellent original condition. The rectangular top with brass strapping and brass corners above the upper section with two short and one deep drawer with solid ash linings, inset brass military handles and original brass locks stamped ‘J. H. Boobbyer & Sons, 14 Stanhope Street’, London. The lower section with two long drawers with inset handles and all sitting on Victorian bun feet.
