Description
Circa 1860. A mid Victorian upholstered and giltwood framed horseshoe shaped chair. The shaped rail, which is tufted with pleating and deep buttoning in an ochre silk. The back is supported by two shaped uprights and a pierced back with foliate carving, with a large stuffover seat, back legs are turned and slightly out swept, front legs are turned, ring turned ad tapering finishing with a brass collar and white porcelain castors.
