Circa 1900, teak staved butter churn/stick stand of tapering form. The barrel has a broad base which tapers to the top and is held in place by five various bands of copper, which are held in position by two rivets. There are two uprights on the top and a cross stretcher in the centre. The staved barrel retains all the original bandings, colour and patination. Excellent size, very sturdy.
