Description
Circa 1880 Set of 7 quality walnut dining chairs stamped ‘Gillows’ including one carver. The rectangular upholstered padded backs and the carver with upholstered arms, over overstuffed seats and fluted seat rails. Supported on turned legs with ribbed block and turned stretchers over hidden brass and brown porcelain castors. All stamped “Gillows 10686”. Superb Gillows quality – would look stylish in leather upholstery.
