Circa 1890. Quality set of 6 mahogany Adam style chairs, the oval backs with profusely carved top rail including foliate carving, the pierced and carved back with urn, rams, foliate carving all contained within a double beaded oval frame the drop in leather upholstered seat with simple rail, back legs are square and slightly out swept, front legs are square, tapering and reeded, braced by conforming stretchers, finishing on a stylish splayed toe.
