Description
Circa 1920, set of 14 Chippendale style mahogany dining chairs. Consisting of 12 singles and 2 armchairs, all with a shaped and carved top rail. The elaborate back features foliate carving and on the armchairs leads on to carved acanthus leaf decorated arms with a small scroll. They have outswept back legs and Georgian style front legs with canted sections inside and reeded fore-edges.
Size of the single chairs: 101 cm high x 57 cm wide x 45 cm deep
