Description
Circa 1830. A quality set of four George IV mahogany dining chairs. The carved balloon backs with foliate carving on the facing and cross rail, with fluting on the uprights. The chairs have four large drop in upholstered seats, (recently upholstered traditionally) with a shaped seat rail. Back legs are slightly out swept and the classic front legs are turned ring turned fluted and tapering finishing on a turned foot.
