Description
Circa 1870. Rare set of four exceptional quality Victorian oak captain’s chairs. The horseshoe shaped backs with a shaped and sloped back with fluted arms supported on shaped fluted uprights and architectural columns to the front. The generous dished seats supported on architectural-shaped front feet with brass castors and shaped rear supports with an X cross stretchers. Lovely colour and patina.
