Circa 1850. Rare set of 6 hand-tinted engravings of Leith and its Harbour. The engravings depict the new Town Hall, Customs House, Exchange Building, Signal House, Leith Pier and Harbour. The original paintings by Thomas Shepherd later Engraved byJ Henshall, T Higham, & R Wallis. All mounted in ebonised and gilded frames. All in excellent condition.
