Description
Circa 1890. Rare large Victorian oak country house letter box. Made of attractive quarter cut oak, the panelled sloping top above the postbox with finely carved letters ‘Letter Box’, beneath. The panelled door with working lock and brass enclosure, opening to interior. All supported on an enclosed plinth base.
