The oval ends with chamfered edges and an unusual, beaded frieze supported on two octagonal baluster legs over shaped platforms and stylish gothic style columns with hidden brass castors, with a central leg for additional support. The table bearing two labels from manufacturer Hobe & Sons, 484 Broadway New York, label Hobe’s patent extension table and unusually it has metal insets on the extensions, a very rare feature that will prevent wear.
