Circa 1890. Qing Dynasty Hongmu marble topped octagonal shaped plant stand. The pink variegated marble insert with a stylish beaded fore-edge. The stand has an elegant, curved, shaped, pierced and carved frieze with typical Chinese floral decoration, resting on four profusely carved legs intersected by cruciform stretcher with bamboo carving on the top finishing on primitive carved feet.
