Circa 1890. A Qing dynasty Hongmu marble top plant stand. The petal shaped top with pink variegated marble insert and beaded fore-edge. The pierced frieze with well carved cherry blossoms which continue down the side of the legs. The cabriole legs are intersected by a carved cruciform stretcher and finish on primitive animal feet. The top has wonderful colour and patination.
