Description

Circa 1830. A pair of late George IV rosewood turnover tea tables, the rectangular tops with rounded corners in the finest well figured book matched rosewood, the hinged and swivel tops open to reveal a similar interior and a shallow well beneath for storage of cards, with a simple flat fore-edge with a cushion shaped frieze, supported on a pair of turned, ring turned and tapering stems, resting on a concave quadripartite platform base with an elegant collar at the base of the stem, resting on profusely carved animal and foliate carved feet with concealed castors.

The tables have excellent colour and are in great condition.
