Description
Circa 1860. Mid Victorian sturdy elm and beech captain’s chair. The horseshoe shaped back with outswept arms and shaped central crest all supported on turned spindles above the large, dished seat. All over four bulbous ring-turned legs connected by double turned stretchers. Nice colour and patina.
