Description
Circa 1860 with adaptations. Mid-Victorian breakfront figured and burr walnut three-section open bookcase. Surmounted by a classical Victorian architectural cornice above a figured walnut frieze, the three bookcase sections – deeper in the middle – each have five walnut-fronted adjustable shelves separated and flanked by rounded pilasters. All sitting on an enclosed breakfront plinth base. In excellent condition with a lovely mellow colour and excellent patina.
