Description
Circa 1880. Magnificent late Victorian carved mahogany cabinet. The shaped top with fluted and foliate carved fore-edges above two bombe-front, carved frieze drawers with cast brass handles above foliolate-carved bow-front cabinets, opening to shelved interiors and flanked by columns with carved dragons. More centrally a low, bevelled mirror back above a glazed cabinet with bevelled glass, and a mahogany shelf. All supported on six claw feet on neat octagonal bases. Beautiful colour and patina.
