Description
Circa 1870. A Louis XIV style walnut and upholstery chair probably by ‘Morrison & Co. of Edinburgh’, the wonderfully carved back with elegant foliate carving on the top, with a small raise oval panel, the back and seat upholstered in needlepoint, with shaped seat rail on all sides, resting on four elegant cabriole legs with scrolling toes. In excellent condition.
