Description
Circa 1900. A small painted occasional table or Canterbury probably retailed by ‘Liberty & Co’. The Moroccan mashrabiya table, with rectangular top with a simple fore edge, the two ends in fine Moroccan mashrabiya work supported on four bobbin turned uprights. The rest of the table which could be called a Canterbury is supported on 15 turned balustrades, sitting on a shelf beneath a shaped apron and the table rests on turned feet.
