Description
Circa 1860. Large Victorian, one-piece carved oak Flemish kneehole writing desk. The rectangular top with a foliate carved fore-edge and a gilt-tooled, red leather writing surface (quality handmade replacement) and low ledge back. With three frieze drawers with foliate carved fronts, lion mask handles and original brass locks. Supported on banks of three matching drawers, flanked by carved pilasters. The desk is a single piece with its original brass locks
