Description
Circa 1880. Large antique Anglo-Indian (Ceylonese) porcupine quill and bone-inlaid hardwood box. The hinged lid with five rows of porcupine quills with bone inlaid hardwood stiles, the sides and the back with three similar layers of quills. The interior with a bone inlaid hardwood panel to base of lid. In perfect condition.
