Description
Circa 1870. A mid-Victorian caved and gilded overmantel mirror. The D shaped mirror with original mirror plate held in place with a stylish gilt slip, the frame with a large carved rope over the entire front and sides finishing with an open loose knot to the sides. The base of the mirror is ebonized and follows the form of the frame.
