Description
Circa 1830. A good George IV mahogany two door secretaire cabinet bookcase. The stylish moulded cornice with simple beaded frieze, the front two glazed doors with horizontal astragal bars and original glass, inside there are adjustable shelves. Carved corbels on the top and in the base, with a full-length drawer with cast brass lion mask heads, opens to reveal a well fitted secretaire drawer. Beneath this, two cupboards with flame mahogany doors, resting on an enclosed mahogany plinth.
