Description
Circa 1820. A quality George IV rosewood snap top breakfast table. The top with finely figured rosewood with great colour and patination, with a simple fore-edge and frieze. The table sits on a large rosewood block, supported on a tapering circular column stem issuing three elegant hipped cabriole legs with foliate carving on the top, C scrolls on top and below finishing on a foliate covered toe with the original concealed castors. The bottom of the stem has a large downward facing finial.
