Description
Circa 1900. A George III style steel and brass serpentine fronted fire grate of diminutive proportions, the cast back with foliate casting in the centre, the serpentine front surmounted by a pair of cast brass finials, with the slatted floor beneath, the serpentine front with pierced and embossed brass facing, the ends with brass finials, resting on a pair of brass legs finishing on turned toes, the back on a solid base with a small ash pan beneath.
