Description
Circa 1780. A George III mahogany bedside commode, the rectangular top with wrap around gallery, which is low at the front, pierced to the side and the back with a raised rondels in each corner, the front with a pair of wavy paneled doors, with brass handles open to reveal an uninterrupted interior, with simple frieze and pierced quarter brackets on all sides, resting on four square legs with reeding on the fore-edge, chamfered on the inside.
