Description
Circa 1790, late George III mahogany and satinwood Pembroke table. With rectangular top in well figured mahogany and cross banding in boxwood and rosewood, with a dummy drawer to one side and a full sized drawer on the opposite end. It features its original lock, and a central raised section with ribbing, beading a circular handle. It has a classic George III leg with string inlay finishing with a Gothic arch (occurs regularly on Edinburgh furniture of late 1700s). Tapering down to finish on brass cup and castors.
