Description
Circa 1800. A late George III mahogany bow-fronted commode, the top in finely figured mahogany with a simple moulded fore-edge, the front with a pair of bow-fronted doors, crossbanded with flame mahogany panels and cast brass knob handles with back plates, beneath there’s a faux drawer with similar banding and an oval handle, the commode rests on four square tapering legs.
