Description
Circa 1720 with alterations. George II inlaid, figured walnut chest of drawers. The rectangular top in quartered, mirror-matched figured walnut with herringbone inlay, cross banding and a moulded fore-edge over two short and three long drawers with matching cross banding and herringbone inlay, engraved brass escutcheons and cut brass handles. With original steel locks and back to front quarter-cut oak drawer liners. All on a moulded cross banded base over neat bun feet.
