Description
Circa 1760, early George III mahogany inlaid chest of drawers, with a rectangular top with flamed mahogany crossbanding and boxwood inlay. There is a simple ogee moulding on the fore edge and beneath this is a configuration of two short over three long graduating drawers. The drawer fronts have inlay similar to the top and retain their original cast brass swan neck handles and have a simple stylish brass escutcheon. Beneath the bottom drawer is a wonderful stylish beaded moulding. All standing on four squat bracket feet. Neat size and great to see original handles and feet.
