Description
Circa 1750. A late George II shaped mahogany turnover card table, the hinged top in rich figured mahogany with curved fronts, opens to reveal a beige lined interior with guinea wells and four rondels for placing drinks, the two back legs are hinged and swing out to support the table whilst open. The front with a shaped frieze with a later cut out drawer, with the frieze following the form of the top. The table rests on four elegant cabriole legs with extended C scrolls on the insides and finishing on a stylish pad foot. The table has great colour and patination.
