Description
Circa 1880, neat-sized George I style walnut chest on stand. The rectangular top has mirror-matched, figured walnut veneers, herringbone inlay, cross banding and a moulded edge over 4 oak-lined, graduated drawers. These also have mirror matched veneers, herringbone inlay and cut brass period style handles and escutcheons. All standing on a neat stand with moulded top, a shaped apron and cabriole supports with pointed pad feet.
